I have that ez care tank I really like it and my betta does too :D And I also had to take the rocks out as well so the waste could go to the drain but its a really nice tank for beginners :)

I had that early on in keeping a betta and because the tank looked attractive, but it's too small for a betta and really needs full water changes every couple of days.

Kassandra actually I bought a live plant to place in the center so he could hide. I knew that they needed something or multiple things to hide in or around. I have had bettas and plenty of other fish since I was young. I know how to care for my beta and it isn't your place to tell me how to do so. My mother is and animal cruelty investigator and animal activist such as myself, we know what we are doing. This is not my first rodeo and I am sorry if you are upset that I temporarily placed my beta into a small tank. It was much better than the petri dish Walmart had him in. I felt that if anything he would happy to have anything other than the petri dish while I came up with a plan to get him something much larger and comfortable.

Kassandra excuse me but you could have addressed the situation more calmly. I understand that my beta needed to be in a bigger tank, it was just a temporary environment till I had the money for a larger one. I now have a 2.5 gallon tank. So before you assume someone didn't research care for an animal they bought think that maybe they are only going to be using the tank or said care temporarily. I got paid 2 weeks after a bought my beta and he is as happy as can be with the new tank and other care essentials. Please think about these things before you post something so hostile.

Ivy Young DO NOT PUT ANY FISH IN THIS SMALL TANK. YOU NEED AT LEAST 2.5 GALLONS FOR A BETTA WITH A FILTER AND HEATER. HOW HAPPY WOULD YOU BE IF I LOCKED YOU IN A TINY CLOSET THAT'S 40 DEGRESS TO LIVE THE REST OF YOUR LIFE? THAT'S HOW IT IS FOR YOUR BETTA THAT YOU'RE TORTURING!!! Either buy an actual aquarium or give the fish back to the store because you are not a responsible owner and you WILL KILL IT. Poor fish... Do your fucking research before buying animals!

I have not had problems with the rocks i cleaned them several times before putting them in his tank. my concern is cleaning the tank and a plastic tank at that

I would get smaller rocks meant for fish the rocks included aren't the best rocks for fish so I would go to Petco and get some rocks I personally get the glofish rocks because they have cool colors and etc but they also have more natural rocks aswell

I would say it gets the job done. If you dont have time I would look into a tank with a filter. The pet store sells small ones.

You should get a 2.5 gallon tank with a heater and filter instead of this cube. It won't stress the Betta out; plus there is more room. You also should get a plant or something for your Betta to hide in; they will get stressed out with nowhere to hide. Please remember this isn't hate, I only want to help. ((:

It will remain dirty until you get a real tank with a filter. I recommened a 2.5 gallon or higher and I use the fluval aquaclear 20 as my filter.

Nice video, I had this tank as well and I found it worked alright if I put half the rocks in. I have a video on my channel that shows how I did that. good luck with your fish!

Thanks for the comment. I found not using any rocks keeps the water clean. I love the concept of this tank. I'll try using half of the rocks. Great Tip!
