I have that same tank, it's just a 5 gallon! I love it, it's just kind of annoying that because light is so bright so much algae grows on the tank.

Question: Ok so i have a 48-gallon tank. i have a fair few plants and a Cambodian temple statue for the tank as well as a few rocks. i would like a community tank of 1 male betta and a few guppies (6 ish) can anyone give me some advice please!!!!!!!!!

Poke Munitty with a tank that big you could make it a community tank. make sure you have lots of plants for the fish to hide in so if the betta gets aggressive they can swim away. I just put a Cory catfish in my 10 gal betta tank to test the waters for new fish with my betta. He seems ok with a tank mate so when my live plants get thicker I will be putting some fancy guppies next.

okay i'm not an expert but i think a tank that big may allow for a betta to live alongside a few other small fish. i've seen bettas live with guppies in a 20-gallon tank and they all just kinda avoided each other and lived peacefully so a 48 one should be good. bettas are territorial though so just monitor how it interacts with the other fish for a while to ensure he isn't too aggressive and hurts them/gets too stressed out by them. if anyone has any other advice or info pls comment below!
