SETTING UP BETTA TANKS: HOW-TO
Betta 8 years ago 60,948 views
Today i show you my new betta tank setup. I will be making a couple more of these in the future. Stay tuned for many different betta care videos:)! ***FIY*** A heater was added in when the tank was set in its final place. The plants are SILK. I know that bettas can rip their find, ive seen it in pet shops believe me - The music is a karaoke version. It is in no way the original song, as i do not own any song i put in my videos

The plants are also from the marina brand and they were purchased at my local pet store in Canada.
Woow i loved your reply here :-*
2.5 gallon is minimum, I have that
Heater is required, I have that
And filter is optional if I keep up the maintenance which I have no problem doing. Go comment on someone who is putting it in a bowl

NOT sink water
1) waterchanges will suffice, and if you disagree read up on it
2) those plants were marketed for betas and the edges were not sharp
3) live plants aren't needed
And just an FYI, this betta has been moved to a 15 gallon tank
(sorry for my bad english i speak dutch nvm)
Are you stupis?!?!?!?! Betta are FRESHWATER fish not salwater
I’ve never put aquarium salt in my betta tank happily for 4 years

Another thing is make sure the gravel is round or oval and doesnt have sharp edges as sometimes they will lay on the bottom or swim close to it and it can rip their fins.
Marbles as in the glass kinds are perfectly fine however you will need to make sure you rinse them well :)

those are the exact ones i got, and if you arent from the states, canada, then check on any local petstore website :)
1- Yes there is a chemical that jump starts the bacteria, you should really read up on it
2- This betta is now in a 15 gallon tank, that was cycled with bio media from my larger tank
So thanks. Now go
glad i could inspire :)
nice tank btw!!
And thanks:)
Hope everything with you is going well :)!
Thank you for also knowing how to properly care for bettas :)! Filter is a must, i do agree, but as i also forgot to write it in the description my fault, i am getting my filters in soon. For now i am keeping up my water changes and making sure its nice and clean.
Also, the betta that was put in here has sever fin rot, so i cant really trust a filter just yet cause she cant swim against currents really well.
Again, thank you for your comment. I always appreciate when people point out things that i failed to do or say.
Have a great day/night!:)
