Hey Munchkins and fish people alike, i'm setting up my divided betta tank today. Because these are Siamese fighting fish, they cannot be housed together. Thus a divider comes in handy. Store bought dividers are flimsy and poor quality so today I'll show you the dividers i'm using & where i got them. I'll share with you how I've set up my first divided tank. Note: I do not recommend doing it when a tank has already been set up, but in my case i waited too long to purchase the divider. I would recommend you set up the dividers before adding water. Tho my filtration has good bacteria in it, i was afraid i would lose too much bacteria due to the size of the tank and the filter. So this was my decision to install it in water. 2nd Note: I do not have a current heater in this tank because the room is always set at a higher temp. The Fish Tank sits at 74-75 degrees. Betta's can thrive in 72-82 degrees but the average temperature is 78 degrees.
