When they're big enough I transfer them slowly and carefully and I acclimate them to temperature in a cup before dumping them in new tank

In your previous video, you stated Petco had it's dollar-a-gallon sale going "for a few more days." Well, by the time you edited and uploaded it, and by the time I saw it, there was only a couple of hours left to the sale and I couldn't get there. Does YouTube give you the ability to email your subscriber list? I'd love to get "Hot News" fast and in time. Or how about a quick 15 second video alert? Just something to bear in mind for the future.

You can get a lot of other cooler fish than goldfish! There’s a lot more cooler fish that you can fill that tank up with! Maybe some guppies? Or Tetra fish?

Hi, Shirley. It would be best not to put a goldfish in a 20-gallon tank. If you want a goldfish, maybe a 40-50 gallon tank at least?

Simply Betta gold fish get really big I want some to but I'm saving for at least a 55 gallon they will do alot better in a large tank
Get your tank set up let the tank get conditioned and wait till 2 weeks at least before you put fish in
And only put 1-2 at a time wait a week add 1-2 more
This will make sure your biological numbers will be able to keep up with the fish

One fancy goldfish would probably be fine in a 20g with appropriate water maintenance. If you want many fish I would suggest something besides goldfish

I hear you! My yellow HM is either a pale yellow or a yellow that desperately needs an outcross, I can't quite tell. If I send you one of my gold hmpk it should be pretty damn gold - they're from eggmoon stock. I have little fry of an eggmoon/yellow base gold but they're behind in growth thanks to me getting super sick and lazy and then taking a trip :(

Simply Betta At this point I have to be patient with all fishie dreams lol. I know mixing gold and gold won't get me what I want butttttt if I spawn gold and gold and then cross out to a super yellow and cross that back to one of the parents.....the gene pool for gold will be fairly saturated and I could go from there quite easily. I'm hoping to start a few new lines this summer once I have a new fishroom up and running.

I'll let you know, of course! These guys will be HMPK though which might be a little lame. I'm planning on crossing a gold PK to a yellow HM of mine pretty soon which might work better (though most likely some blue irrid would be there and need to be selected against). Hehe depends on how patient you are ^^
