Put the lid back on. I have this tank too and the lid looks pretty good and bettas are prone to jumping.

You may want to put a lid on, just incase your betta might jump out! Also to prevent the water from evaporating too much so you wouldn't have to constantly keep topping it off. Other than that, very nice tank!

Thanks for the advice. I love the look of the tank without the lid, so I guess I'm going to keep it off and hope he doesn't commit suicide. Also my plant has already grown well above the water line. It's out of control!

Nice setup! Your Betta will be very happy in there, I find river rocks are great to use too.
