Hello all, At first I had my bettas in small bawls. I was keeping their water clean and they seemed happy. However, I read some articles on the internet and I have agreed that a bowl is not the best container for a fish. I got a small square aquarium and I have put ONE betta in it. Unfortunately, there were a lot of reflections and the betta was flaring like crazy (it was trying to fight itself). For some time I have dropped the idea of the square container. Yesterday, I thought again and I came with the idea of using printed paper sheets laminated in plastic. I have created 3 printed laminated sheets in minutes. Two of them are used as wallpapers, while the third one is used as a diagonal separator for splitting the tank in two. So far, so good. The red betta and the white betta have more space than before and I still have one single container for both. The second condition was mandatory for me because I live in a small apartment and I have only one spare shelf for the fish. In the past months, I became a big fan of betta fish. I like their looks and I like their sturdiness. I have put natural plants in both sides, some rocks and one cave. Both of them are creating bubble nests, so I guess they are happy. If I did something wrong, please don"t hit me too hard :) it is my first aquarium try out
