hey i have to ask u something. so a few days again i did a water top-off on one of my betta tanks (its a 1.5 gal) 2 days after the change my betta started losing its color and its fins started going all black on me, not a color change but dieing. after i saw him like that i did a 70%-80 water change then 12-15 hours later he died. idk whats going on, i did nothing diffent, i've been using betta safe in the water (i let the water sit with betta safe for around 2-3 hours before puting it in the tank) i do this for all my other tanks and there doing fine. i think theres something in my towns water killing off my fish :|

oh yeah also, in the second smaller tank the one with the demon betta, I didn't see them flaring at each other. the obviously did see each other because one is hiding in the plant but both of them don't seem to concerned about each other

hey I was thinking about creating a betta fish sorority, is there a video on your channel that can teach me how or is it possible you can make one, I've tried to make one before in a very large tank enough to suffice each betta in my tank for them to have there own boundaries. but after a week or so I got a queen in the tank it was one of my biggest females, she killed one betta over night so I just though that the female betta that got killed might have just went into her territory. so I put her in a breeder tank for a day or so, I let her back out and she went ballistic attacking which ever betta wasn't fast enough to get away from her. I was wondering if you could right my wrongs and help me get my sorority back to shape, Thanks :D

He could be tired and resting. Do you have a heater? Cold water tends to make bettas sluggish as well.

Wouldn't the bettas that flare be stressed? I've heard your only supposed to have them flare for about five minutes but I'm no professional

It depends on the individual fish. Some flare A LOT and get really tired while some get bored and loose interest and stop flaring at each other through the divider completely. I tend to rotate my males around until I find good fish to be neighbors that loose interest in each other.
