Great video! Just wanted to say that ammonia is actually a compound of nitrogen and hydrogen with the formula NH3 and no a bacteria :)

Medium place 2 day change water
Big place 5 day change
1mx 1m for 1 giant beta 50%change each week
Pond for 1 giant betta never change water nature work by their self
Bigger the place you will watch your fish show glory n happy
Smaller the place you will watch your fish quiet on the top of water waiting for his end

Ammonia is not a bacteria. It's a chemical waste product from pee. Also cleans floors and counter tops.

I have a 10 gallon tank that will be having only one betta lol. I'm gonna spoil him. He's got a heater, filter, conditioned water, and lots of plants. I'm currently cycling the tank but will be getting one. I'm so excited!

My opinion is that....We should not keep bettas as pets.......They stay more happy in their natural habitat..... and it is bigger also.

I don't have a betta but I do have 6 goldfish. The only sort of experience I have with taking care of fish is with one of my friend's bettas when I was 6 and when I was 8 i took care of a tadpole. I know goldfish sometimes get around a foot and a half in length. the tank i have them in right now is a four and a half gallon tank. I know it's to small for them so I'm getting a bigger tank.

I agree!
About half a year ago, my beautiful Orchid passed away... she was a turquoise colored female betta. However, I have been working my butt of to convince my parents to let me get a new betta.... and today... I got good news! If I keep working hard at cleaning and exercising, I'm allowed to buy another betta. I'm so excited! Hopefully I will be getting him a ten-gallon filtered and heated tank!

How do you heat a betta tank? Do you need a special thing or just put it under a hot light or something?

Sorry! I missed your comment. You can buy heaters at the petstore. They are things that you put in the water that heat up when you plug them in.

I bought a half moon betta for $12 for my 3 year old daughter, he lives in a 20 gallon all to himself and I clean out the whole tank once every week, and I dechlorinate it, it's basically her pet that she loves to watch, how it should be and leave the cleaning to the grown ups
