Yes this is all wrong, bettas need a minimum of 2.5 gallons. And there is no excuse no to have a heater or a filter.

2.5 gallons is the least amount of gallons for a betta. Bettas shouldn't live in bowls. Also you need a heater and silk plants not plastic. Also you need water conditioner.
