I am a professional Mariner (Mate on a tug) and a couple things I would love people to be aware of are channels- be aware of water depth vs. a deep draft, know the area they are navigating: appropriate use of the VHF (16 is not a talking channel, distress and hailing)- 13 is Bridge to bridge. I would love to see a video on responsible navigating and seamanship. (Like unspoken rules, where private boats should hang out and where they shouldn't.) I love your channel by the way- all knowledge is good.

Hey @broncos guru , when you jet ski'd from Ft. Lauderdale to Nassau, did your pwc have the range to cover the 190 miles, or did you have to refuel mid-sea, and if so, how does that work? THX!

I used to work on the river & more than once, the towboat pilot would use my vhf walkie talkie to call the company office when the boat radio went on the fritz.

Survival on the water is based on electronics my friend bronco you forgot to mention keep maps up to date cause water ways always change one season is different to another also keep water way maps handy ya never know if your GPS will blow a fuse lastly let marine rescue know where u are heading and a time u r due back so if u get into trouble they know a grid point to find u stay safe everyone

To avoid swamping the boat, like three in the small dingy, it is important to keep in mind more than load limits. You also have to keep in mind weight distribution. That small dingy with the 3 adults might not have swamped if they had one of the couple from amidship up forward.
