Here's a quick and easy way to quickly and easily clean your boat fenders and dockside shore-power cables. I've used acetone for many years to perform this magical trick and it works like a charm. I no longer waste my time with soap based cleaners, as that takes way too long, involves multiple processes and ultimately (from my experience) doesn't do a through job.
