We think the story went that the skipper thought he was more advanced than he actually was, and hit a cross wake waaaay too hot. Speed doesn't kill. Silly skippers do. Luckily all the people here were fine after a couple headache tablets. Lol.

Hi Konartis2 In the original video, you see a few of the passengers get up after the crash - and although they seem not more than shaken up, reports show that all seven on board were reportedly injured. Could've been much worse though.

@ 0:09 you'll see a boat going past almost parallel. This causes any boat to rock from side to side as it 'rolls' over the wake. This boat (which crashes) is clearly going very fast and it seems as though the sharp bump through it violently onto its one side, as it all went pear-shaped from there. The safest way to cross wakes is to cross them straight on (@90 degrees) - but while you can cross side on, always slow down. Speed was the biggest factor in this clip. What exactly caused this situation and what could've been done to avoid it ? I have read comments about crossing a wake and going to quickly but I am not a boater and don't know much about the subject
