Feed the bitter end of the line (the rabbit) up through the loop around the standing part of the line and then back down through the hole again. Easily Pull the Knot Apart The best part about the bowline knot is that it is easy to pull apart. Flip over the knot, loosen the loop closest to you and pull the rabbit end of the line.
