I've never heard or recommend trimming down in a following sea. Trim up raise the bow and stay on the back of the swell.

had a really rough time yesterday in a 33 ft Egg Harbor in a following sea. My BF was going way to fast and lost control and started spinning the wheel back and forth. Thank you for the lesson, now if I could just get him to listen to me, got any tips? Ha
