Hi Chris, Many tnaks for watching, I'm located in the Chania region of Crete, Greece and most of my boating trips are done in the bay of Souda, i'm told the largest natural harbour in the world

Chris Miskimen. He is in Greece. Im from Greece too. When he was passing the entry of the harbor he greeted a swimer saying "Kalimera". It means Good morning. Also there is a Greek flag on one side of the entry of the harbor and the names of the boats are in Greek too. Lol so many clues :) Always next to the name of the boat there is a code number with two letters. The two letters means the place where the boat got identity papers and where is registred but i cant figure out in this particular video.

I started with the boat in this video which is a Poseidon 470 4.7 mtr boat and i upgraded to a Lamberti Yama21 cabin for extra power and sleeping cabin for longer journeys. With regard to the "Best boat" for learning in, i found the boat in the vid perfect to learn how to handle a boat in sea conditions. I also had 5 hours tuition on how to moor up, ( parking) in different angles, which was very useful and highly recommended, so look for a small size boat to learn in anything from 8ft to 12ft would be ideal, and then go from there.
