OK powering the boat on like that makes big holes in the ramp area. NOT GOOD when I bring a bigger boat on a longer trailer in behind you and drop into your hole.

True, but the concrete doesn't go very far. I have dropped off a ramp where this was done and it sucks.

I wish there was a NO BASS BOATS filter for youtube videos. Putting a bass boat into the water does not deserve a video. If you can't do it, you should find another hobby.

Tiger Audio, Inc. It’s super easy for some... yes. I think it’s super easy too. But I had tons of requests for these videos. What you and I think is simple, may not be for some others. I try to make sure key words are clear and direct the ones that want to see it. I appreciate you watching and commenting.

You miss the point. First, it's super easy to do and shouldn't require a video. Second, I'm looking for opinions on putting something closer to a 30ft deep V in the water alone, as well as retrieving alone. There are dozens of video results and none of them cover that material.

Why does a winch have 20ft of strap when no one ever uses more than a couple feet?

Release winch, attach rope to trailer and boat. Back in to float boat. Pull up to keep feet dry. Pull rope to get boat to dock or shore. Park truck. Takes a couple of minutes max. Rope should be about double the length of boat.

I still don't know why you would ever need to pull plug. Bilge pump. I have my boat for 17 years and I couldn't tell you where the plug is. Never been out.

Never undo your front winch till your close or in the water in case the ramp is too steep and our boat will roll off Esp with rollers

Yeah, it's a really bad idea to disconnect the winch before you get the boat at least a little in the water... Even with carpeted bunks, if you have to stop suddenly while backing, you could drop your boat right onto the ramp or whoever you're trying to stop for

Yes I did notice but he's here to teach others how to launch a boat safely. Not everyone is as observant and know their boat and trailer Esp when they are new to launching a boat. Things happen.

Did you notice how gentle the slope was on that ramp? That boat was not coming off the trailer.

No doubt. Always know how steep the ramp is and be careful. I should disclaimer everything... This is simply how I do it . Launch boat at your own risk. :)
