those oar locks are not good, if you notice, the rower is having a hard time rowing because the oars keep locking and unlocking when you dont want them to. oars need to be static in their locks like on a regular row boat. and if you let the oars go they will come back to center the boat just like the ones in this video does,

I never noticed that. It's my boat and it's never bothered me but I'll pay attention to that next time I'm on the water.

I rented a boat on the Bighorn In Montana while the river was roaring at 9,000 cfps with no experience. I wish I was this video before that date, we had quite the day on that float, I thought it would be easy.

We are very careful and I have been on that stretch of water well over 1000 times. If its a new place and you are learning, life jackets are definitely recommended.
