Darcizzle, beautiful as always.
A few months ago, you seemed to be having trouble with the engine. I think the problem was considered "bad gasoline," but I'm not sure. Are the boat engines more sensitive to gasoline composition than regular car engines are? I don't think I've ever had a real problem with any of my cars because of the gasoline. Are there engines that are less picky about gasoline than others?
Do you keep personal emergency blinker lights on your life jackets? When I used to kayak, I had a powerful blinker light that was always attached to my life jacket. I didn't have the electronic stuff, but if I were stuck somewhere and someone could see the general area at night, the light would have been visible.
Has anyone ever thought about making an emergency toilet for one of these boats? If a well were dedicated to being a temporary septic tank, maybe there'd be a place to store a seat and a curtain that could be raised to give enough privacy to take care of business. With the right attachments, maybe the thing could be emptied at an RV dump station. Before long, you'll (Brian) be old enough that you'll think about these things.
I like the anchors because they make the boat appear to have grasshopper legs.
If I lived down there and were healthy enough for boating, I'm afraid that I'd still want to get a sailboat instead of a real fishing boat. I just like the idea of having the cabin and being able to cruise.
I have seen trucks with heavy boats flying down I-95 over 80mph. Had one guy have a blow out in front of me around Jupiter and the truck wound up upside down in the grass with the Grady White
