Practice! I had to back a trailer out of the shop twice everyday for a year. I'm now not that bad at it.

It's not that hard if you use your mirrors and keep the fenders in the mirror my first time backing a boat did it first try just kept fenders in the mirrors and didn't need tow mirrors

Been really liking ya'lls videos, and love the boat you're trailering! That Everglades is beautiful! I just wanted to add that in my experience I've also found it extremely helpful to look over my right shoulder just as one would when backing up any car, checking side-view mirrors periodically for added hazards. Just felt like I would share this for people who may get frustrated turning their head from mirror to mirror. While doing this though I think it's important to use small adjustments and anticipate where the trailer is going rather than simply waiting for it to respond. For those reading this and just getting into trailering, it's also important to know that once the trailer begins to move one way or the other, that movement will become more and more exaggerated as you continue backing up. In other words, turning the steering wheel about and inch to the right and backing up for fifty feet will leave you with a jack-knifed trailer if you never re-adjust. The main point, don't leave yourself in the situation where you find yourself turning one and half full turns of the steering wheel each way to try and keep the trailer straight. A small adjustment can go a long way! So keep your movements small, be courteous at the ramp, and enjoy the un-explainable joy of boating! Hope that can help!

Very nice video.  Thanks.  Wish you had one with tips to back a 21-footer on a tandem axle trailer into a single wide driveway from a narrow street.  Either I've got the boat jumping the curb or hubby's truck jumping the curb.  :(

Andrea Cash Hi Andrea, try it now. I'll bet with Trump at the helm, everything will begin to get a little bit easier.

+Andrea Cash that's a toughie. There may not be much more you can do other than taking it slow and easy, so that when you do jump the curb no damage is done.
