Use only one hook per rod . The second hook is a nightmare flying about tied to a mad fish just as your face down trying to free the scaly beast

Hi great setup !! how you install your transducer for your humminbird sonar on your back of the zodiac ? thanks
BlackOpsFishing
BlackOpsFishing - 8 years ago
I attached the transducer to a wooden dowel, like a broom stick, taped the wire to the dowel and attached the dowel to the wooden transom with 2 screws, the transducer of-coarse was mounted on the bottom of the dowel.

Looks like you have enough invested in that to buy a pretty decent bass boat. What made you decide to do the raft thing? Thanks

I wanted to try inflatable boats, I made the trailer after buying the Sea Eagle because I wanted to keep it inflated and ready to go. It was just my choice! Thanks

You can turn that down and still see what I had done, I wasn't explaining how to build it just a walk around. Thanks

+alan sims    Well, the video would be a lot more helpful if we could actually hear. There are many options (a piece of foam over the camera mic, windscreens, directional mics, remote collar mics, etc) to easily reduce or resolve wind noise. If all else fails, kill the audio completely and narrate the video at home while editing.

+Scott Collom    My solution was an inexpensive Intex Mariner 4 inflatable and a 12v Minn Kota Endura C2 30 trolling motor. The boat is carried, deflated as necessary to fit, in the bed of my pickup while towing, with a battery from the trailer used to power the trolling motor. If I’m going to be out for a long day on the water, I use both batteries from the trailer in a dual battery setup. In that case, the trailer is connected to power at the campground (doesn’t need batteries), with the batteries charged by the trailer overnight for the next day. Of course, if you’re boondocking (no campground power), you’ve have to find another solution.

SeaEagle is a good affordable boat, If money is not an issue go with a Zodiac, I would go at least 12 feet for size.

I have a little sea eagle one man pontoon.  It is ok but what they don't tell you is they are hard to fold back and will barely fit in a car. Inflated, they wont fit in a small truck. Mine is ok other than that and it doesn't have a live well. You won't save any money going small inflatable if you want to fish. Go buy a two man bass boat that is easier to transport. It will fit on any trailer and has a live well. Besides, these hulls will eventually wear out.

Hey Hitman, Great video! Lots of good stuff for other owners of inflatables. If at all possible? Would there be any way ypu could do a second "tips" video on this SR14 inflatable? Speaking for myself, I sure could use a good look as well as a video description of both your fantastic fishing tower as well as your trolling motor set up. thanks for the great tips! Keep them coming! or if you prefer you could send me some close up photos!
