i like this guys videos, and everyone has their own technique that works for them : but that said, i did not find this method particularly appealing :) there are better how-to videos on youtube for solo launching that are more applicable to me at-least.

check out my channel, maybe, look at self launching trailer. or best boat trailer design ever,i currently only own a thirty four footer. but for smaller trailer boats, simply tie a line from trailer to a stern cleat,let chains and winch go before reversing then back all the way in, climb aboard fire up then let the line go and glide off, doesnt matter where the cabin is ,no reaching in to start etc,

That looks painfull that way. Boatcatch solo launching on my Haines Hunter I can achieve less than 2 minutes from reversing from top of ramp to tying off at wharf.
