I don't live on my boat but spend plenty of time on it. As part of the restoration I removed the gas system and went for an origo alcohol stove instead. Not as efficient as gas but a whole lot safer. No need to worry about gas locker storage either. Don't have issues with condensation as boat is fully insulated and most soft lined. Also fitted 3 x solar fan vents as part of resto which helps. I don't shower in the boat though, only in the cockpit. Showers create loads of condensation. We have a shower in our caravan and always open window afterwards because of it.

I thought that dog pic was Tucker off Campervan Kevin lol. Great tips! We were going to go for a petrol engine because of something being said not so long ago on the news (not that i watch that BS often) about Diesel being considered worse than petrol after all. They do that all the time, ooh a glitch again. Assholes! lol. sorry, just gets my blood pressure up. So, if we're stuck with a diesel engine and "they" make it mandatory to turn to petrol, then ££££££ Not sure what to do.

Agreed. Learn the skills that will fund your sailing lifestyle forever if you are smart. Don't let go of the dream and enjoy the apprenticeship in the knowledge that you are working for something worthwhile and far far bigger.

I agree with Miles finish your apprenticeship, get an old boat and do it up then go sailing and you will have a skill to fund your sailing anywhere in the world.

I'm a live aboard and I agree with you almost 100%. It's not that I don't agree with you on somethings, it's just that i have a different philosophy on somethings. I'm currently living on a 34ft boat and to me it's to big. I don't use the v berth at all. And being that I'm stuck in this lifestyle (in a marina) for a few more years, I have electric everything. I do use propane camping stuff when i go away. Soon i wouldn't have to even store that. Not everyone live like me and like you, one is not right or wrong, and one is not better than the other. Just wanted to let people know if you embrace a more minimal lifestyle smaller boats are great (and cheaper)
Always loved you videos. Can't wait to see what is coming next.
