Great vid! I have a few questions. Your saying that I should not cut the belly bands when we're rolling the wrap off? At what point do you cut them? Also how do you reattach the cover at the stern after the large cut is made to start rolling it forward? Thx again

The bellyband is the yellow nylon rope that runs aroundThe water line.
To repair the cut in the back you Purchase From Dr. shrinkMatchingShrink wrap tapeA 4 inch roll is about $60

Eddie, I plan on doing this for the first time next year, on my Sea Ray 280. I would imagine you need at least 2 people to remove and roll it. How large is the rolled cover for storing? Must be a pretty large piece to store.

Yes I agree. This is the 5th winter I have reused my shrinkwrap for my 30' rinker FV express cruiser that my son and I have been covering at home since I purchased the boat in 2003. Make sure all supports are in the same position, tighten perimeter band tight and secure all belly straps. Retighten all belly straps on the next sunny day and the job looks like you just did a fresh wrap with new material. When removing, pick a nice warm dry day and fold up in thirds like you would a tent and store in a 50 gallon garbage bag. I am in North East Ohio and last year we had a very bad winter and all held up nicely, and only having to retape some of the old tape that was starting to come off. I am going to buy new material for next year, but if the old one still looks good I am going for year # 6. Ed K. Cleve. Oh. 12/2015
