Hi im really thinking of getting a nose rider. I have been using my retro fish mostly for the past 4years and really feel like trying out longboarding. In the pink from what I read seems to cater for a bit of traditional and performance. At 5ft 9 and 65kg could you recommend dimensions for this board. I should say half the reason I want to get into longboarding is an injured elbow and easier paddling.

Hi @Timothy Cassidy ... If you're stepping up from a retro fish we'd recommend going for a shorter model. Perhaps the 8'10 or the 9'0. The ITP is a wide board so you can size it down a little and still have masses of paddle power! Give us a call or email realpro@realwatersports.com for more info!

It depends a lot on the waves @orangesv650. If you're riding 1 ft weak waves, you will definitely up your wave count but if you are surfing waves with any size or power, the extra board won't help you catch waves - instead it will make everything more difficult because the 9'6" is big and wide (can be difficult to handle)! Hope that helps.

The Tufflite version is indeed more durable. Tufflite uses closed cell foam (doesn't take on water if dinged) & is far more resistant to dings than regular PU/Poly construction. For your size and experience, We'd recommend going for the 9'0 or the 9'3.

Just picked up one of these from Trip & Tommy (and Matt...) down at Real in Waves & can't wait to get it into the water. I'm a big fan of the tufflite epoxy cores as well as their verious models. Already have a Pearson Arrow 9-0 Formula that is incredible, but wanted a nose rider as well. Thanx guys for all of your assistance in gettin' me what i need for our beach breaks down OBX way!
