Could you smash the clams for the puffer so he'll be able to get to the meat without too much work. Avoid injury too unless he needs to wear down those front teeth.....oh I see he can swallow the shell. Wow amazing fish.

Hey Cory, I was just wondering what do you do to cure ick? I'm having an ick infestation and I've already lost 5 neons. I've had it for two weeks now. Should I just keep up the temp and dosing aquarium salt? Should I use garlic? I'm not doing a water change when I'm dosing the salt. I don't recommend keeping them with cichlids. Sourcing one, usually you'll need a local fish store to special order one in for ya.

Would depend on the type of water you have. But something like Zebra Danios are really hardy. But if you don't like the way they look/interact with other fish that can be a problem. I'd say start by getting the tank planted with live plants, once some algae or live plants are growing it's ready to be playing with almost any fish you like that fits in the tank and will do ok in your water.

i have a fun idea open up a store on the east coast, even better, ny, better then that Long Island ,better than that Suffolk county. The north coast of Suffolk county, and then just countiue and open up a store in the Port Jefferson area, right next to the harbor or the high school. Depends on the tank, a pea puffer could do well in a 10 gallon, while some puffers need very large aquariums.

Depends on the types, some will work, some will cause a lot of aggression. Also tank size is a factor as well.

I'm wondering if i could breed common plecos for profit, no one around me has bushy nose and I don't know where I can get some. I'm thinking I have to buy 5-7 small common plecos to ensure I get m/f. How would you go about this? And how many is enough to ensure males and females?

Also lol it's 85 degrees where I am LOL Arizona winters are great:)

That would depend on what is popular where you live, but it sounds like if you can't find any, normal or albinos would be plenty profitable locally to you. I'd buy some off of aquabid if I was looking.

+Fish in the Corner I doubt it would be easy to make a profit on them. I'd just mail order some bristlenose if you were set on breeding plecos.

They pack fish so tightly in one bag! I dont know how you can shove 50+ fish in one bag and feel okay about shipping it

Yeah they pack hundreds and hundreds of bags a day, it's all routine for them.

Don't get me wrong I'm amazed they survive cramped up like this just me personally I couldn't do that. I'd be nervous until my customer received their order. But I guess you get to the point where you're like "ok fishes time for a ride!"

+Kala C it's no different than people on a plane really. We are packed on their tight, everyone wishes they had more space. Lots of people get sick on the plane from sharing the same air etc

I wanted to buy some of those L134's but at the time of my rashness My LFS couldn't find them so I settled for some Butterfly L052 instead I'm happy with what I ended up with but upset that I lost one of the 4 in less than two weeks.

The odds of having both male and female would be low and the grow out time is a few years. So you don't want to raise them for 3 years and find out you only have one sex.

Love the unboxing videos! Do you think , next time, you can add how they look in the quarantine tanks after you unbox them? That's my favorite part! I love seeing them color up and perk up after they look so pale in the bags.

Fantastic video. Probably the best and most interesting yet. Amazing how Murphy digests those shells! And why do the Bettas ship in such small bags! Kinda looks cruel.

Hey Cory! I have a problem. My Betta from Thailand won't eat prepared foods. I've tried Tetra Flakes, Omega One Super Color Flakes, and freeze dried bloodworms. He hasn't eaten any of it. The only thing I can get him to eat is chopped frozen shrimp. Do you have any suggestions?

+Oranbias Nahc the answer to the question is dependent on how the tank is setup and your ability as a fish keeper. On the upper end I've kept 50 in a 20 gallon while selling them at a store. On the lower end 6 would be fine.
