I always see the beautiful Discus fish at my LFS. The tank is right by the counter.. Today I decided to pick one of them up. Literally took me 45 minutes to choose... Peacock? Cobalt? Dark Blue? Lighter Blue? Red/Orange/White? But I finally decided to grab this one. A beautiful Cobalt Blue Discus. I have never owned a Discus but have always secretly wanted one. Yes, they are in the same family as species "Cichlidae" or "Cichlid". The Parrot fish is about the same size as the Discus. Therefore they will grow together (although the Discus will grow a tad faster). And the Parrot Fish aren't very aggressive at all, they only pick on / eat the creatures that will fit in their mouths.
