Nice discus i used to have them but i wanted more exp with more fish. also not cheap these days £40 to £44 for one.

@Yonggbaek Try putting the driftwood in a dishwasher, no soap, just hot water. Run it 2-3 times. Works great!

Very nice tank! You must really know your fish cause everyone I know says they need substrateless tanks. - whered you get that massive peice of driftwood

I have sand for my substrait in my 55 gal. But im adding a clay substrait mix under my sand just for plant nurishment.

actually i had some discus and they arent as hard as you think. Sadly my cousin put some goldfish with my discus while i was gone in new york which killed them... but at least one survived. I still have the last survivor, but dont know any stores that sells discus around in new york :-/ they had it in regular petstores back in ohio... but not here

The fish are beautiful i could never keep them i hear its VERY hard. I do keep angelfish though and they're similar only the discus are more impressive and more tropical looking. They seem to get along well. I love parrot fish ive always kept those. Theyre personalities are awesome. Mine knows what i look like it runs from everyone but me when i come up to the tank. Well thanks for the advice i think i may get a discuss or two :D

I have a 110 gallon tank i have to get the filter, hood, lights and build a stand for it. Ive been looking around for examples of tanks the same size and so far this one is the most good looking one. How much do you think it cost you for the fish. And how much for the rocks and stuff? I want to put drift wood in mine but i hear it makes the water brown?
