Hi, I have a 125g, I run 2 Aqua Clear 110's and a fluval 306. I HIGHLY recommend the AQ110. Easy to clean, huge flow rate, any filter media you want. And cheap. My Fluval 306 works....not very well. I just gave up on it, now it's just full of bio media. Pours like a slow hose. Unless you want a sump, go with an easy AQ. 20 years fish keeping...just my opinion. Keep it simple.

I congratulate you for not overstocking, and turning aquarium into a concentration camp, like so many people. I also have a 125 g with only 4 discus and ~60 neon tetras which are all doing great.

Beautiful tank!!! The only thing I do not like is the fact that you seem to move the camera, all the time. Would be nice to see a FTS of the tank for a minute or two, just watching the fish and enjoying the beauty.

I WANT ONE!!!!! They made the most of that tank with their placement in the wall like that.Big ups..Im thinking youd need a snorkel and mask to plant it,,looks pretty deep.

I just got a 225 gallon tall type and it is huge and Im wondering if my house is strong enough to support the weight,,I will add pillows of blocks and stuff and cross my fingers when i fill it.

The small thing that I like most about this tank is that you used such simple plants. Crypts and swords and grasses. Super easy but nicely done.

Hi all! Somehow this PLANT tank is relaxing looking. I also agree that this tank had much more potential in NATURAL LOOKING DISCUS AQUASCAPING. If doing so we could combine aesthetics and science. A common feature with all the four discus species is that they avoid open water during day time and mostly stay under branches and fallen trees. TENS of long branches, fallen tree trunks, some floating plants in dim lighting with 30-50 discus sp. would be worth watching. Kind regards Janne Aho

Absolutley Amazing tank, I was under the impression that you were not suppose to put Angel fish in the same tank as Discus, even though both species are indigenous to the Amazon. Yet I see alot of people doing so.
