I know, I'm sad about it too, but the man has a plan. He's going to bring his big old discus downstairs in the 72 bowfront. I can't argue with that, but I will say it is sad to see it go. Tearing down a dirted tank is no joke. We actually just hacked all of the plants off at the bottoms and left the roots down in there. Naturally, the tank didn't fit in the back of my wife's car so I'll go back later in the Subaru and pick it up (probably gonna double stack it in the green house). The aquascape is now GONE. I'm at that same point that Steve is. Got a tank I'm tired of trimming. Now I'm looking forward redoing it from scratch. Gotta ask...what's that little fish flitting around the bottom of the tank by itself in the video? Looks like a female betta to me, but I can't tell. Interesting coloration.

Hey Dustin, I have a 20 gallon tank with 3.1 wpg..but Its heavenly platned..Tons of jungle and a ton of cork screw. I ordered the florish by sea chem..and I am going to add that to my tank. Can you help me please? I need advice..if there is any also, some plants look good others are turning yellow. Ph-6.6 Amonia-0 Nitrates-0 Nitrites-0 help me please

Steve, you are my role model. I love this thank and feel a little sad that it is going away, but I know as I just tore down my 90 gal to dirt (and put some of your plants into - thanks Dustin!) the next tank is going to be fire! Good luck, my dream tank is a planted discus/amazon biotope 220 acrylic rounded edge (if that even exists). I am sure your tank will be a shining example of how to do that. Make some videos of your process or at least talk about it when you film the final product

I had a 42 bow that I got off craigslist on the cheap because it started leaking. Dudes house was a mess, it was a reef tank and messed up his stand and floor. That being said I resealed it and gave it to a buddy and it has been rocking for 3 years.

doesn't a bow front aquarium distort the view inside tank? anyway, the rotalas in the back look good. almost looks like a background poster. i also like how they're so easy to grow. and i noticed that you have a red colored bosmani. that's the first time i have seen one in that color anywhere, including youtube.

Be carefull with the 72 bowfront mine split a seam after about 5 years it was also a planted tank what a pain in the ass to tear it down with all the plants in there also know others that have had the same problems with bow front tanks I would never get another one
