I will not be shocked if your archers eat the tiger barbs sadly. i have an 5" archer and he ate a 3" serpae tetra.

Why archerfish? (Legitimately just curious.) and what do you feed them? I know in the wild they spit water at insects and knock them off foliage. However in my experience they won’t eat much they’re very picky. I found one out of like six that actually ate flakes.

Cory I asked a question about Canister filters on your Friday Live stream with Corvus. You recommended using a Fluval FX4 for a 75 gallon. I was planning on stocking with smaller fish (cardinal and Rummynose Tetra, Guppies, endlers and a Betta) and was worried the flow would be too strong for the tiny fish compared to a 406. Any of your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!!! Thanks for all that you do, I’ve learned all I know about fish tanks from you:)))

You can go with a 406. I myself would go with an fx4. I have a lot of clients who use a fx4 on a 75 gallon tank. You could always adjust the flow if you didn't want as much or direct it towards a wall.

Are the archers brackish? My local public aquarium has some archers that look similar in a tank with figure 8 puffers so I assumed they were brackish but maybe they are running the tank full fresh or it's a different kind of archer.

You need to add some mangrove seedlings to the back of the tank now and let them grow out of the tank. I'd add maybe 5-9 of them.

i got a 55 gallon with a gigantic "goldfish" as everyone calls it to me it looks like a mini koi with some other fish its cloudy for some reason. i think its coming out of the goldfish since they put off ammonia cause im doing everything i did with my 37 gallon which is setup perfectly. only difference is the 37 gallon has tiger barbs 2 clown plecos and a snail no goldfish so i really think the goldfish has something to do with it.

Goldys are the best! I have a full grown Goldy and she has the best personality of all my plecos. She doesn't care if you pet her and eats EVERYTHING. She even begs for food by bouncing up and down on her fins at the front of the tank. If you come over to the tank she stares you down until you give her a pellet.

They are extremely shy and other aggressive fish like loaches tried to nip their fins. so, I had to remove loaches from my tank

+moussaemad they are a behavior fish. I myself do t go for flashy color. I go for how they act. Some fish like guppies have color and I like the way they act. Some things like plexus, I barely get to see, but enjoy the way they breed etc. archers are fun to feed crickets etc too

cory or jimmy now that you have another channel you should film the 800 gallon for like 4 hours and then put it up on the channel so we can watch it on loop or something since the live camera wont work with all those moving tiger barbs

In Sweden they rate the Magfloats in the same way. To the thickness of the glass. IMy biggest one is rated for 15mm thick glass. And that is what I have on my custom 175 G. :-) But they have 4 stronger models above mine. :-D
