This Video is about how to maintain you Aquarium Heater in good Condition with periodic cleaning. I shot this video because there was an issue that happened with one of my heaters from my Discus Babies tank. The top of the heater started to melt and the holder also had melted. So i thought we should make a video on Heater maintenance . This is a very important part in the hobby. Especially if you are keeping fished like Discus. I really don't recommend using the RS electrical heater. It is highly inaccurate and don't always auto cut off. I found this the hard way which killed 10 of my neon tetras and an albino sailfin pleco.

Fwrapper Aqua I see. Well I removed the heater from the tank and observed the temperature in the tank for a while. I've noticed that is it not going below 28°C. So for me there is no need for the heater. Also I shouldn't have used it in the first place. Are you sure that you need a heater? You seems to be in a tropical region.

Sidharth Sreekumar... Very true bro... That is what I have tried to show in this video.. But the problem is the next level of heater like ehiem and all are all most 10 times the cost... So what I do is always run my heaters on timer.. So it's not continuously on and temperature is also under control
