This was the first stop after we got off of the boat with our fish. It's good business for the wholesalers to take care of the tourists and lovers of the hobby. We kept our fish there for a week after we left, our orders were combined with the next weeks fish tour for lower shipping costs. (it was like 250 bucks total from Iquitos to ky) This place came after plucking kinds of sweet fish out of the river. If there was something you didn't get, this place could have it. I loved the little arowanas they had in the shallow tanks. I spoke as best as I could to the owner whos father opened it. Edwardo Panduro. (like the Panduro Apisto, named after them) i bought 6 Wietzman Cories for like $4 each. That sounds cheap until you factor in everything that went into me being there. No display tanks at all but I wasn't expecting any. The stingrays in the tubs were kinda a trip for me. They had staff that just went around and did water changes on them all day. I loved the mountains of cory cat species all over the place. I am still amazed at how well all of my fish shipped from all the way across the world. I only lost 3 angels and a few misc others out of 100 + fish. Cool to see where you got those corydoras originating from the Machu Pichu area. Definitely wish there as some more light in the second half of the video but that's a pretty intense complex. That is a lot of fish! Your Spanish needs a lot of work :)

Dustin, Great vid as always, our question is this: how long can they keep fish in the shallow tiled holding pools? It looks like there was no filtration... can you elaborate more on the systems you saw, or the cycle of collection to sale? That would be very valuable info to many of us here at SLASH (St. Louis Association of Saltwater Hobbyists)

your substrates too deep, meaning no oxygen can get to soil (anaerobic soil) fixing this gives roots more oxygen and more efficient :)

I am having a annoying problem with my dirted tank where all the bottom of the plants and the leaves are withering away also there are bubbles coming from the substrate when I push down. Any help on the issue please!
