This is a video of my 5 foot, 100 gallon Amazon biotope tank. This Tank is filled with fish almost exclusively from the Amazon and South America. The water is kept in the mid to low 80s, soft acidic water with a lot of flow. All the fish have been in the system for at least months and thriving. Lighting starts out with marineland hidden LED 21 inch strips, then blue and purple T5, then all lights on. This Tank is litely dosed with Blackwater Amazon additive, Plant mineral+nutrients, Discus trace elements and CO2 booster. List of livestock and equipment below. Equipment: 2x Marineland hidden led 21" strips. 1x Marineland 48" 54w 4 bulb T5 H.O. Pink, purple, white and blue. 2x 1.5" overflow bulkheads. 2x Inline return. 1x 1200gph Mag12 return pump. 33 gallon long sump (48"). Wet/Dry filled with bio balls, driftwood and matrix by seachem. 1x 2217 eihiem canister running size grande chemi-pure elite. 2x hydor koralia 750gph power head, in the sump and one in the display.
