If you put small sized adult Discus fish in a small sized fish tank will they soon grow too big for the small tank? My fish tank is not very big.

@oceancalls52 A 20 gal tank is really small for a Discus. Is the tank bare, with no stones and decorations? If not, its not really a 20gal tank. My guess is 4 inch is a biggest the fish will get and that's with many water changes.

Nearly all tropical fish need heat and heaters. Google SIMPLY DISCUS. This site will give you all the info on raising and breeding Discus. Clean water is key!

Discus fish prefer regular water changes. They do not tolerate high nitrate content. So having a bare tank bottom is preferred and much easier to maintain with a siphon hose. Any food that is not eaten with in about 10 min should be removed.

Hey I've found out that if you make the backround black, the discus look more bright and colorful, also how big is your tank and how many discus do you have.
