Caught on video, discus freaking frenzy! My yellow AMG was hurt from this. He started swimming sideways and soon laid at the bottom of the tank. I had to hospitalize him in a 10g, lowered the water level so he doesn't get too much water pressure. He recovered in two days and has returned to the big tank.

they freaked out on the first glimpse of large unknown object that is shaped like a giant discus. which brings up the question: do discus recognize their own species by shape of their species? they did not react on clock being removed, or their owner. i wonder would they react the same if perhaps the object was the same size just different shape? (dont try this at home for fish sake)
