This is the second update in the series for my discus fish tank. All plants need a trim so I've included some maintenance as well. Big news is the addition of a German Ram (Mikrogeophagus ramirezi). I'm hoping he pairs up with Julie, an electric blue ram that i have had in the tank for about a year. What shall i name him. Please subscribe to follow the progress of my discus tank. There's this word in japanese, Yugen. A word that is used to explain the feeling of awe. That amazing feeling you get when you have no words to explain what it feels like. That's what I got from seeing your Discus Paradise. Everything in it is so tranquil. Everything is booming with life.

Your aquarium triggers yugen in me. This was a treat to watch. Lovely music too.

I'll probably name him Russ. Reminds me of Friends.

MD Fish Tanks it's already doing good and I can see how much care you put in your tanks and fishes. Discus Paradise is going to thrive.

Thanks mate. What a nice comment. The tank is only young as well (6 weeks old) so will get much much better.

How have you found keeping the tank clean mate with the amount of food they require? you vacuuming the substrate regularly etc?

Thank you. I have never cleaned the substrate. I let the corys and plants do that. I just clean the glass, change water and clean filter regularly. The plants do most of the cleaning for me.
