Be careful grapes like chocolate can be toxic to dogs and cats, and raisins are sundried grapes.

I have been having tiny little baby pygmy corys showing up occasionally in my 29 gallon too. Kind of fun to see. Tank is so heavily planted that I don't know how many there are. At least 2 different sizes of babies though - probably at least 6 of each size. Saw a few little wigglers the other day too that don't look like the parents yet.

I have been feeding some micro worms every day since I started seeing the little ones. Did you know shrimp go nuts over micro worms too? haha

thats awesome!!!! i want to try some pygmys at some time myself. i bet if you added some baby brine and micro worms daily you would get bunches coming out of the tank

those are in the aphyosimon genus, which can be anual peat spawners , meaning they like a cup of peat to spawn in, but i dont think thats an anual, anual being they only live 9 months to 2 years in captivity since in nature they drie up. the fb gruop killifish breeding conservation is a wealth of knowledge thanks to its active and very knowledgeable members. if you join im positive they will help. but yea doing some research first is a defineite plus

awesome to hear! it depends, killifish are like cichlids though not as many they are all different, some need soft water for eggs to fertilized properly , while some need it just to spawn and egg fertility. what kind did you get? if they are blue gularis they can hatch in water but it will be a very low hatch rate maybe 1 out of a 100, and soft water will likely be necessary, that being said im no killi fish expert.....

i got him from exotic aquatics " Plano " for 30$ , though any store should be able to order one, dallas north aquarium has them occasionally though DNA is the worst store for fish i have ever seen , i can easily diagnose 1 if not 3 illnesses easily fixed in every single tank, the last time i saw fahakas there half were dead and the others on the way out. fish galery would be a decent place , and im sure would order one for you , even aquabid has them from time to time

Good thing Oliver threw up. It's not the fiber. Raisins are very toxic to dogs. Watch his renal function closely.

Sorry for sending the first link that popped up. I base my concerns on having seen several toxic and fatal reactions to grapes and or raisins in dogs. Those I've seen have been as a shelter director for the past 15 years. As I said, keep an eye on urine output and color. If you want to research the early signs of renal failure in dogs post ingestion of raisins or grapes there are many published studies, online. Hope he is ok, the damage is irreparable when it happens.

it wasnt throw up... lol , i looked at the link and it seems that their is only anecdotal evidence of it causeing any issues, the aspca said that not university had ever studied it.... he also ate 2 bars of 70% dark chocolate to no ill effect??? but will do! thanks for the heads up!

i do rarely , its hard to just sit since there are so many and sit time is also clean water and feed time , especially now with work. but i watch them enough to notice if my fish arent behaving normal . i hope to have more time for that soon, that is the down side to having sooooo many tanks... poor lucas :( he has it realll bad lol . i do take the time to look at my fish when i feed and also when in the fish room, its just not the 30 minutes i wish it could be

Your comment has already been seconded so I will third it:
I love to see ENVIRONMENTS created and Kyle had done a great job of doing that for all the different species he keeps - great to see in a time when so many other channels are more concerned with cramming huge fish into bland tanks which are used more as vanity projects.
To see tanks which are a well set up home for fish shows way more respect for the animals so its all good here - this is proper fish keeping.
