Nice video! For net storage I have just put a few large screws in to the sides of the wooden racks at various parts in the room. I don't know about having a stick out shelf in there. I'm average size, 6 feet tall 200 lbs but smacking in to that and then maybe losing balance could be a disaster.

A while back I bought a package of a dozen or so things on qvc called magic hooks, they are movable and don't do any damage. They stick to anything but wallpaper so you could put 1 on the lower part of the outside of your tank here and there. I think it was around 30 bucks.

I do the same (screws) but the way my tanks are, they overhang so there is no room for the nets to hang.

Suggestions for big tank: Acaras (yellow, blue, or black. Then there are the Electric Blue hybrids). Geophagus are peaceful and elegant, clean their own sand. And my favorite SA's Severum. I have golds, greens, red spotted, etc. These last fish recognize and interact with their keeper. Another interesting vid. Enjoy the visual and narrative. Jealous of that tank!

They make a 2 ,3 or 4 inch solid/slab. A 3 inch slab will measure 2 5/8 × 7 5/8 x 15 5/8. Built a similar stand that holds 2 75 's and 2 40 breeders.

I work at a brick and stone yard. Sell about every option for concrete block. I'm in the Midwest. Look up concrete block suppliers for your area if the big box stores don't have them. Clayton block co. Possible in your neck of the woods.

I'm worried long term that the bricks will not provide the same strength and integrity as a cinderblock will, I'd ask some other fishkeepers who have experience with this style if a brick is sufficient or if you should just go with a cinderblock addition

I spoke to him on Ricos Reeftank livestream for a good while. He`s ok, he`s a character and a lil cocky, but hey he`s a young guy who`s the #1 fish youtuber. But in spite of all that he spent 3-4 hrs talking with us offering as much good advice as he could.
