dude my new discus fish hide everytime i turn on the light... is it to bright??

+Eyesick Aquariums discus enjoy very low light, remember in the amazon they always around tree roots and shadowed from high light, guess they feel safer in low light, in my tank lights are only on for 1 hour a day and that's normally afternoon feeding time

+Travel Martinez my discus have got alittle color.. and are eating well.. out of four only two survived.. :( but on the bright side they are swimming well and no signs of stress

+Travel Martinez theyre in my room . i dont allow anyone to make noise for the same reason.. zero noise... ive only had them three days.. i know that is the reason theyre are stressed .. but i monitor all day so they dont die.. my temperature is at 88.

+Eyesick Aquariums How long have you had the discus fish? What time of day do you turn the lights on? What noise/bass is there in the room you have them in?
These fish need to be relaxed and comfortable with their surroundings, maybe they are shy and need a few days to settle.
The more information you give me, the better my response can be.

As my local fish store wanted £140 for my lights, and found them on Amazon for like £85 new.They come in different sizes and you can even put them in water, although I wouldn't risk it personally.
