I have a question and concern I have a powder blue gourami in a 15 gallon with two barbs two danios and two red wag platys recently she has been hiding behind the filter and not being her active self swimming and interacting with the other fish like she usually is I'm concerned something is wrong any ideas of what I could do

Hey, great video as always. It was fun to have a different voice/perspective do an unboxing. I have a "quick" question. I am considering running two Eheim 2215s in series on a tank I'll be setting up soon. I have looked into this a little and it seems like this is a viable thing to do to remove nitrates and is often done with expensive shrimp overseas. However, it is usually done with more than two canisters, typically 3 or more. Do you know anything about this/have any advice? I am wondering if two 2215s will be enough to strip the oxygen/create anaerobic conditions in the second filter or if it will just be better to run them both separately. Thanks!

Aquarium Co-Op Okay, thanks! Is there a disadvantage to slowing down the flow rate? In my mind it's just a longer dwell time for the water on the bacteria and doesn't have a huge effect on filtration. I will probably give the two canister filter thing a go. Hopefully I'll get it started by spring!

I don't have personal experience but it would depend on the flow rates, being that eheims are pretty slow I could see how it would work. I'm just not sure on the exact right numbers.

Starting to really enjoy these aquarium Co op unboxing. Than seeing the room tour. I'd have a secret spawning room. Where I'd just dump them in 100 gallons. Waite for the next unboxing and introduce new lines.

gold molly has great color. i think mollys are gunna be my fish of choice. i had a male gourami before and it used to go after the other fish, very aggressive even to other male gourmai. i had 2 in same tank not a very good choice.they both end up dying. one male died from other gourami and the other one died of natural causes.

are pea puffers can be in a community tank with tetra and betta? do they eat pellets and grow up big like other puffers?

FaLLenStormyGod they are aggressive and need to live alone. Min tank size for 1 is 10 gallon. To be healthy they need snails and other live foods, they can be picky eaters.
