Pacu is not a piranha bro. Our sellers dont have much knowledge. And those are red bellied pacu only.
There another species of pacu i.e. the Black pacu.

Pacu are not very aggressive to fishes of their own size but smaller fishes can be bullied, but they are comparatively more aggressive towards their own kind than other fish species.
They are closest relative to piranha but unlike piranha they dont feed on any animals they are herbivores ( plant eater) in natural environment. But my pacus eat everything whatever i used to feed them. they can easily outgrow your standard tank(2feet) in 1 year. It is better not to keep them.They don't have much of personality, are very shy fishes. I am keeping them from last 3years in a 4feet tank but its still small for them. I don't recommend anyone getting them unless you have a tank 5 feet+ size

Pacus r nuisance fish, I had them before they eat a lot and out grow the tanks in matter of months, it's not recommended for community tanks they nip other fishes,thy get to around2- 3ft in length
