Hi guys and girls my much anticipated discus tank has finally taken giant leap forward ive sent my designs and ideas into the tank builder months ago and have been fine tuning them now for a while heres the drawings for my tank. The tank will measure 6ft wide by 2.5ft high by 2ft deep im trying to achieve a high water turn over without blasting the fish around the tank as discus fish live in streams and tributaries to river that are much faster moving. This is why a spay bar and nozzle arrangement has been opted for also running 2 seprate return pumps will give me back up incase of a pump failure. Looks good pal. Do you really need the wave makers? Your spray bar should create enough flow. Discus aren't big fans flow. Are you going to plant it?
