You should move them to own tank, fatten them up then put them back.

Your tanks all look so good. Sorry to hear about the bad luck. Keep your head up. Hope those discus start eating for you soon.

Discus can be finicky. Have you tried frozen brine shrimp or frozen bloodworms. Also, a garlic additive (your LFS probably carries one) might help stimulate their appetites.

I have tried everything! I know all people say that, but I have. So I guess I just have to wait and see...

DIMM the lights, let them adjust to new tank. Good luck.

That is the thing, they were eating for several weeks, and then they stopped. Tried having the light in a lot of different ways. Thanks

you could try soaking food in garlic guard to make it more tempting that helps me get new fish to eat

KalemsFishtanks I tried that today. With chopped up raw Tiger prawns. Soaked in garlic. But 2 of them still did not eat.

Hope they start eating like they normally do: like pigs :-)
I assume you have tested the water so everything is as it should be? Skip the almond leaves and add alder cones and/or oak leaves instead. You still have the ability to just go out and pick some. Cheers

Ok. I'm crossing my fingers and hope this problem will pass asap.

Oysterman Thanks for the support! I have tried that, and also tried oak leaves. But in my experience, the Indian Almond leaves works better.

Zack i could be wrong but it looks as if they are breathing hard...maybe add a few airstones? or a powerhead with an air tube?

Thanks for the tip Dwain, but I got a big streamer and the Eheim 4+ with a spraybar just above the surface.

Have you tried Freeze-dried Blackworms? My Discus love that! Beautiful tank and fish by the way!

Thanks Man! Yeah, I have tried all live and all frozen food I can get my hands on. :-(

your aquariums look very clean mate, i think you should invest in more discus, rather to buy an expensive equipment. 6 discus minimum is a lie, if there was 12 of them, they would compete for food and eat like pigs.

I have thought about that. I think I will do both! :-)

I'd check for internal parasites Zach, good luck with the discus!

Yeah, but I do not like meds if I am not sure there is a problem. I am not seeing any symptoms on the fish.
