OK so let me get this right....
You had 3, 4 fish plus feeders that was in a hospital tank that contained 3 fish that was sick (Angle and Cory cats), then you put the feeders and the peacock bass, into this "sick" tank.
The peacock bass eats the contaminated feeder, and you move the contaminated peacock bass into a 125 gallon tank?
why have a quarantine tank if you don't use it like a quarantine tank?

I have a 75 g and I use 2 sponge filters only in my tank. I had a power outage for a couple hours while I was out...I had a hang on back filter....all my beneficial bacteria died...the power came on and ammonia killed all my fish, and I had complete loss of my cycle. The bacteria has to have oxygen to survive. The oxygen in an outside filter is out very quickly....but in a tank...with a battery air pump....the bacteria doesn’t die...neither do your fish. I learned the hard way. Sponge filters are the BEST!

Lin T - the dishonest Asian Shark ....if your power goes out and the water stops moving through your filter, then the beneficial bacteria only has the oxygen in the amount of water left in the filter. The smaller the amount of water (what’s left in the filter), the quicker the oxygen is used up. The largest amount of water is in your tank, and that takes longer to be used. I have two battery operated air pumps that kick on when the power goes off to maintain oxygen to my fish and my sponge filters in my tank.

Andrea Shelton doesn't make sense to me. A few hours of power outage won't do that. Lack of surface disruption leads to lack of oxygen in your tank is probably the cause

Bro I had a peacock love them they are awesome but when all they eat is minnows it becomes a pain not only because it's expensive it's because when all they eat is feeders they create so much more ammonia

Adnan Ahmed keep new fish isolated from your main tank for a few weeks in order to make sure no diseases are passed on from them to your main fish. I used to not quarantine fish but I learned the hard way, a red lined shark killed a bunch of my fish with parasites

Poor choice ...you have an angel that you say appears sick yet you drop rosy reds in the tank that are notorious for having internal parasites due to the conditions they're raised .
