Quarantine, and knowing what requirements your species need is fish 101. You are not a master if aquatics, but a master of idiocy.

Hey bro, you need to re-think your quarantine strategy... at the moment is counterproductive because if you have 1 sick fish then every fish u quarantine in together is also prone to the same sickness.

Corys should have sand to sift through (not gravel it could hurt them) and they are social fish, so they prefer groups of about 5 (3 minimum probably)

Tetra flakes are actually some of the lowest quality flakes I've found. New Life Spectrum makes a good flake, but frozen foods and pellets are actually way better. For angels I would do the cichlid bug bites too. Tetra flakes have food dye in them for "color enhancement". High quality flakes don't have food die, they have krill and real natural ingredients to enhance color.

I got 2 sunfish and a tiny bluegill, i feed them sausages sometimes and they luv it!

Edit: u should try it, no fish rejects sausage the gold one will probably eat it

I’m currently trying to help one of my angels he responds to the hand but doesn’t want to eat while everyone else is eating I am dosing the aquarium with metroplex for my 30 is it okay to dose more often then every 2 days and no I don’t have a quarantine tank and can’t add the aquarium salt because I have a planted tank and my ph ammonia and nitrites anything else I should do I have already done a 25 percent water change

Cory catfish are meant to have whiskers but yours don’t. They have been kept in poor water quality. They might struggle to find food a bit.

owen waterall.... or the Cory was kept in a tank that had a substrate that was sharp. Often times poor substrate choice can be detrimental to fish who forage for food on the bottom.

If I were you I'd invest in a couple more cories. Also give them either bare, smooth or sand bottoms to their tanks since the one looks like its barbels are completely gone and cories are not only more prone to disease if they lose their barbels, but they also find it harder to find food.

Those corys are females which is why they are so fat. They are different species, and the one cory has had her barbels burned off due to mmonia. They will grow back eventually.

Looks like the cory with the weird mouth was kept in a tank with substrate that has sharp edges. They try to dig in it and then break of their barbels over time.

Grave_posiedon hi. That angelfish was in the 75 gallon tank and it looked like it was getting bullied so i decided to move it to qt tank the same day i got these corys. So they are all getting medicated at the same time. Hopefully they all get better in the next 2 weeks.

No, pellets are better than flakes generally. Frozen food even better than pellets. There are some flakes that are good like New Life Spectrum, but generally stick with frozen or pellets.

Are you sure it isn't a baby giraffe? Juveniles all look the same. Hold the comments people, they are similar early in life. Master, you need separate quarantine tanks. A new one and a sick one.
