You would be better of with a 50 gallon. In 30 gallons even 4 discus would be pushing it. You would definitely need to keep on top of the water changes.

Some are and some aren't. I really like to use them because they are fantastic cleaners but I have found about half of them will go after the discus at night. So you might end up going through a few before ending up with a good one. Bushy nose plecos on the other hand aren't quite as good at cleaning but I've never seen one that was aggressive towards discus. Also keep in mind that the sailfins can get big and will outgrow your 3' tank.

Do you know how many gallons the tank is? Four would be a better number. With three quite often two of them will bully the third. Be carefully what type of pleco you use, some will go after the discus' slime coat. Bushynose generally work well. Tetras are great tankmates too.

i got 3 foot tank...if i put 3 discus,6 tetra fish and 1 pleco......its that good fot discus????
