What you did baiting that gator is illegal and very dangerous. You are hard-wiring his little pea-sized brain to associate people with food. When that is done, the alligator loses its fear of people and becomes aggressive toward people, and some eventually attack people if they don't get the food they're looking for.

I was doing the same in Guyana...I would throw right in front of them...but only live food and raw dough seem to work I tried many artificial lures that would catch bluegill and sunfish but nothing in Guyana they just look at it
