We enjoy snorkeling/free-diving off the beach. So we went to Turks an Caicos Island. Here is the video at Smith Reef. I found that the best time for snorkeling was before 9:00am before none disturbed the peace. I saw everything between 7:00am and 09:00am. I saw many spotted eagle rays, trunk fish, puffer fish, parrot fish, barracuda, turtle, lion fish, and lobster.
