The Rainbow Reef is a barrier reef located between the islands of Taveuni and Vanua Levu in northeast Fiji. This video is a combination of 2 different dive sites on Rainbow Reef: Fish Factory and Jerry's Jelly. Both dives are relatively shallow at 20 meters (60 feet) maximum depth. Fish Factory is, as its name implies, a site so overwhelmingly packed with fish, it's claustrophobic. Jerry's Jelly is packed with less fish (still a lot, just not 1 per square centimeter), but it makes up for this loss with a wide spectrum of dazzling soft corals, clownfish, and a Napoleon Wrasse. Jerry's Jelly's current is swift. If you don't pay attention (like I did when I videoed the reef), you will miss the ride of a lifetime as you're propelled up and over the reef.
